It’s a wrap. I might have just found my favorite hilarious group of the summer (Das Racist was the previous crown holder). O’Grime is a two man collective, who aims to bring to you “a new progressive sound, fusing elements of fundamental hip hop, grime, and wholehearted swag.” Unfortunately, they are apparantly Miami Heat fans, but when I heard their ridiculously over-the-top, swagged out tracks, I had to give them a pass on that.
This first tracks seamlessly blends dubstep with Lil B, swagged-the-fuck out type lyrics, which results in an anthem that should probably be played every time Udonis scores on the court. Ladies and gentlemen, I bring to you Udonis Haslem (I’m so handsome).
Imagine Das Racist’s Pizza Hut/ Taco Bell, mixed with obscene lyrics, drug references and mentions of Taco Bell showers. Cook it all up and you have something way more satisfying than a cheesy gordita crunch – O’Grime’s “Taco Bell Swag” (caution: this video is def NSFW)
