It’s Good – Lil Wayne ft. Jadakiss and Drake

So the Internets went absolutely wild this afternoon, when a track off of Lil Wayne’s Carter IV leaked. The track entitled It’s Good, featuring JadaKiss and Drizzy Drake, had Twitter going nuts because of one damn verse.

Weezy raps:

Talkin’ bout baby money, I gotcha baby money

Kindap ya bitch get that how much you love ya lady money

I know you fake nigga, Press ya brakes nigga

I’ll take you out, that’s a date nigga

I’m a grown ass blood, Stop playin wit me

Play asshole and get an ass whippin

I think you pussycat, hello kitty”

Didn’t get the shot at Jay? Well back on Hov and Kanye’s track H.A.M, Jigga raps:

Really, half a billie?

Nigga really, you got Baby money

Keep it real wit niggas, niggas ain’t got my lady money”

The ‘baby money’ line was seen as a shot at Baby and the whole YMCMB crew, and the fact that Jay would neither confirm nor deny that only added fuel to the fire. Therefore Weezy’s line is not-so-subtly a shot at Jay and Beyonce (“kidnap ya bitch…”), which should be awkward when B and Weezy perform at this sunday’s VMA awards.

One things for sure, Weezy is definitely generating some buzz for Carter IV (which also happened to leak today….karma?). I can’t lie though, I’m getting tired of all these subliminals… If you gonna go at someone, say that man’s name!
