What better way to start us off, than with the official intro of the official goon anthem album. Jeezy hittin us off with all sorts of greazy talk on this intro, but come December 20th, you know it’ll definitely be a SnowGo!!
Lil Lody absolutely laced this beat, and Jeezy floats on these verses. Jeezy is doin what Jeezy does best: coke, money and car raps: “I’m in that purple Lam, lookin’ like some dirty Sprite”. This the kind of shit we been waitin for since Lose My Mind. Once again, TM103 drops 12/20, and the deluxe edition apparently comes with a Samuel L. Jackson narrated DVD that coincides with the LP. Yeahhhhhhhh
Uncle Murda – Warning Remix ft. French Montana, Jadakiss, Styles P, Jim Jones and Cam’Ron
Ain’t no real duo that can tag team a track like Styles P & Jada. Also, can’t no one spit ignorant shit quite like Killa Cam: “Smash tha shit out your neighbor/smack the shit out the mayor/smack the shit out ya baby moms while she in labor”. Yup, case closed.
Jim Jones – 848 ft. Juelz Santana, Waka Flocka
This track ain’t particularly new, but gotdamn if this shit don’t get you turnt up! I still got no clue what the hell Jim Jones’ vampire life is about (“sooookie!”).
Looking back, DreamChasers was probably one of the best mixtapes this summer, in terms of hard hitting tracks. Imma Boss, Body Count, Work, and best of all, this track. “I Told her meet me in the bathroom….”
Jim Jones really never says anything halfway lyrical on a track. He’s not as hilarious as Cam or Juelz, but just like his DipSet counterparts, dude has a great fucking ear for beats. Along with Ricky Rozay and Jeezy, Jones also has the best adlibs in the game (see: “If it was beef, I ate the last burger [Yummmmy!!!]”)
DJ Drama – Lay Low ft. Young Chris, Meek Mill and Freeway
Probably one of the hardest knockin tracks off of Drama’s latest mixtape Third Power, Meek Millie continues to beast on every feature of the summer.
Machine Gun Kelly – Wild Boy ft. Waka Flocka
Can’t really say it better than MGK himself: “If you plan on whoopin somebodys ass, raging, or just getting black out drunk…do it to [this song]". #CobainsBack
